The Gathering Space is a 150 year old church located just west of Omro along State Rd 21. The old North Rushford Church, as it has been known for many years, is a beloved feature of the landscape in that part of Wisconsin. This truly unique, beautiful, and historic structure has recently been purchased by Charles Foote and his daughter, Jen Frank. They have renovated the building and re-imagined it as a warm and intimate venue for weddings, meetings, celebrations, and gatherings of all sorts.
This Holiday Season The Gathering Space will host The Christmas Market, a stunning blend of arts, gifts, and fine crafts. The Gathering Space will present the work of participating artists in a stunning and unique setting, and the atmosphere will be that of a beautiful Holiday shop, filled to the brim with one of a kind works of art and fine crafts.
Join us at the Gathering Space this Christmas and bask in the glow of the Old North Rushford Church, beautifully decorated for the Holidays. Sample some Christmas treats, hear music of the season, and support local artists by shopping for one of a kind gift items lovingly handcrafted just for you.

An exhibition celebrating the flourishing and diverse art form of embroidery. All pieces are of original design or original adaptation and use many types of needlework that employ a threaded needle.
This exhibition offers an engaging look at an endangered dradition. Truck and bus drivers in many parts of Latin America take pride in painting dichos--a saying, proverb, or amusing expression--on the bumpers and other surfaces of their vehicles as a means of expressing their personal feeling to passers-by and other drivers. Dichos are hand-painted by either amateurs or professionals in a wide variety of styles and colors and address everything from religion to earthy humor, becoming a form of folk art. Unfortunately, with the rise of corporate trucking, the art of dichos is gradually disappearing. The exhibition includes vibrantly colored photographs and a selection of miniature vehicles covered with dichos. It provides a unique opportunity to experience a lively genre of Latin American art and expression to be read and seen literally on the road.
This small exhibition features artworks made by the artists who participated in the Museum's Studio 210: Working Regional Artists program during 2009. The exhibit includes artworks by Michael Weiss, John Gordon, Michael Jakopovich, Steven Monske, Steve Haas, Mindy Sue Meyers, Becky Sloma-Woodbury, and Leigh MacNolan-Dudenhoeffer.
