The Neville's own major, juried art exhibition includes a wide variety of media and subjects, including paintings, photography, ceramics, and mixed media. Some are realistic, some are abstract or even non-objective. The Art Annual is open to living artists currently residing in the counties of Northeastern Wisconsin or Michigan's Upper Penninsula.

European Design Since 1985: Shaping the New Century is the first encompassing, critical assessment of contemporary Western European design from 1985 to 2005. The exhibition will present 250 seminal works including furniture, ceramics, metalwork, glass and product design that reveal the extraordinary creativity of 118 European designers. The exhibition defines Europe’s central role in driving design’s proliferation during the 1980s and 1990s.
Chakaia Booker is a highly innovative and accomplished mid-career sculptor. Her works, created from recycled automobile tires, are elegant and powerful and will be doubly so in the pristine Calatrava building. The exhibition will be comprised of existing work, and works created specifically for the show.
MAM After Dark is a monthly art happening at the Milwaukee Art Museum. Each event offers a not-to-be-missed feature program, after-hours access to the galleries, music, food, cash bar, and more. Enjoy as you mingle with friends old and new.

Don’t miss Milwaukee’s Brew City Bombshells as they heat up the stage with a variety of specialties and enticements.
DRAG PAGEANT / QUEEN OF MILWAUKEE 9 PM
Vote for your favorite local drag queen in this competition for bragging rights and fabulous prizes. Elimination rounds include talent, congeniality, and more.
BEER AND CHEESE TASTING 6–8 PM
Sample handcrafted brews and fine cheeses from across Wisconsin. (Free with admission, while supplies last.)
Visit the grounds of the Museum on Gallery Day and explore works by more than eighty emerging and established Milwaukee-area artists in a relaxed and informal setting. One-of-a-kind paintings, drawings, jewelry, prints, sculpture, ceramics, wearable artwork, and more will be available for purchase. All marketplace artists are members of a diverse coalition of Milwaukee-based artist organizations that partners with the Museum on this event. Held rain or shine.
