Celebrating the art of floral design within the ornate rooms of the historic Paine mansion, "Rooms of Blooms" features over one hundred artistic fresh flower arrangements by twenty designers from the region.
The beautiful floral creations are inspired by favorite artworks in the Paine's collection and the exquisite decore of the mansion. See the historic interiors bursting with bouquets that are artworks themselves and enjoy the amazing splendor and spectrum of fresh flowers.
Peninsula Music Festival will present it's second chamber concert for February Fest on Sunday, February 13, 2011. "A Brahms and Schumann Soiree" will feature David Bell, clarinet, Judith Jackson, piano, and Samantha George as narrator. The music and narration takes the listener through the story of Johannes Brahms and Robert Schumann's friendship. There will be a brief reception afterwards which is open to the audience.
Peninsula Music Festival will present February Fest chamber concerts on TWO days in February 2011. The first will be Friday, February 4, 2011! This concert will feature the James Ehnes Trio. Grammy award winning James Ehnes, cellist Robert DeMaine, and pianist Andrew Armstrong will perform in an intimate setting with wonderful acoustics!

Celebrate the work of the Salon artists with live entertainment, poetry readings, and refreshments as you view over one hundred works on display (and for sale) in the Guenzel Gallery. The free party is held on the final night of the Salon exhibition, which provides all artists -from fledgling to seasoned veteran - the opportunity to display and sell their art.
Meet the artists, shop for affordable art gifts locally produced, get into our holiday mood! The trunk-style show and sale features some work only available this weekend. Our artist friends are stuffing the gallery with new pottery, jewelry, fiber art, and more, in addition to our usual selection of prints, paintings, photography, sculpture and fiber arts by our co-op members. While you are shopping enjoy a hot drink and festive snack. The Holiday Show runs through December 20 during Main Street Art Works regular gallery hours: Friday from 1 to 7 pm; Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm.
A New Premier Talent Competition for the Fox Valley!
Come and audition with your vocal, instrumental, dance, comedy or theatrical act. Check out the Oshkosh Kiwanis website for full rules.
Adult division: Ages 18 & older
Youth division: Ages 13-18
Final competition to be held Feb. 18 at the Oshkosh Conventions Center at 6:00 pm. Six finalists in each age division will perform.
$500 cash prize, photo shoot ad portfolio, potential Grand Opera House performance for winners in each division.
A dozen stops in & around the Olde Main Street district will be featured again in the Gallery Nite Series with free trolley shuttles every 15 minutes. Olde Main Street will be unveiling three new pieces of functional public art as part of their “Park in the Art” artistic bike rack program. All stops will feature a taste from Olde Main Street restaurants and a chance to enjoy an evening with artists.
Attendees can park behind Los Banditos (1258 Main Street) or Olde Town Crossing (1243 Main Street) or jump on a trolley at any participating gallery every fifteen minutes starting at 5 p.m. Featured galleries include:

The event is the last Gallery Nite of 2010 and welcomes back restaurant partners offering food samples including Los Banditos, Big Tomatoes, Jimmy John’s, Ten-O-One Club, Jake’s Pizza and Cat & Jim’s Art & Soul Café..
Artstreet showcases over 200 visual artists from throughout the country. The performing arts will be featured on three stages, highlighting a blend of jazz, blues, classical, dance and theater. There will be edible arts, a children's art area, artist demonstrators, strolling performers and more!
