Curtis: Over her 15 year career, Catie has recorded nine solo albums and has toured with the Lilith Fair as well as Dar Williams and Mary Chapin Carpenter. Her songs have appeared in numerous television shows (Dawson's Creek, Felicity, Grey's Anatomy and Alias) and independent films (500 Miles to Graceland, A Slipping Down Life). Hendrix's songs are fashioned out of a diverse mix of styles- folk, country, pop, rock, Tex-Mex, bluegrass, and jazz. Hendrix, a 100% Indie artist, has been accompanied by record producer, Lloyd Maines, onstage and in the studio since 1997 producing eleven cds on her own record label, Wilory Records.
Pop-oriented '70s hits included "Midnight at the Oasis" and "I'm a Woman". Over 27 blues, jazz, gospel, folk, country and R&B albums to her credit.
Power of One is a one-day youth-focused Christian festival featuring bands Thousand Foot Krutch, Stellar Kart, Run Kid Run and several others. Comedian, Bob Smiley will perform and emcee. Keynote speaker, Matt Pitt will share his story of escaping the grips of teen drug use and destructive choices. Additional break-out sessions will be held.
In all, 22 artists and speakers will be featured, along with food, vendors and some activities.

Performances by the faculty of the UWFox Music Department, including Cara Davis (voice and piano), Lynda Zimmerman (piano), and Marc Sackman (flute). The recital is free and open to the public with unreserved seating.
