During each session, naturalist Jessica Miller will start w/ an indoor program focusing on a variety of different topics including proper winter attire, nutrition, preventing hypothermia or fatigue, purchasing snowshoes & more. We’ll then suit up & hit the trails, not for a leisurely hike but for a bout of invigorating exercise, increasing our speed & distance as the weeks progress. If snow conditions are not adequate & we cannot snowshoe, a walking hike will be substituted. A light snack & warm beverage will be included each week.
