Exploring Woodcut Printing

Join artist and instructor Eric Hansen as he demonstrates an easy and non-toxic form of printmaking, all done by hand. Students will take part in an age old technique allowing the individual to make multiples of one image. Individuals will use traditional woodcutting tools to create a dynamic composition upon the surface of a wood block. The block will then be inked up and printed by use of Japanese paper and wooden spoon. All materials are included in the class fee.
