The Hang Up Gallery of Fine Art presents the oil paintings of Sherri Thomas as its feature show for April. An avid plein air artist (painting outdoors using natural light), Sherri loves the challenge of capturing the quickly changing light of a landscape. Back in the studio her goal is to keep the spontaneity of the shifting patterns of light and shadow as her painting develops. “Light and Shadow” will feature mostly landscapes that are a mix of plein air and studio work.
